Biography: 

Qun Han received the M.S. degree in optics from Nankai University, Tianjin, China, in 2003, and the Ph.D. degree in physical electronics from Tianjin University, Tianjin, in 2006.
Since 2006, he has been with the School of Precision Instrument and Opto-Electronics Engineering, Tianjin University, where he is now an Associate Professor. In 2011, he was a Visiting Scholar with the Missouri University of Science and Technology, Rolla, MO, USA. With over 140 published articles and six patents, his research focuses on fiber sensors, fiber lasers and amplifiers, and optical material.
