Professor Junwei Gu is currently the Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC), Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society (FRAeS), Fellow of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (FIMMM), Top 2% Scientist Worldwide, as well as the vice-dean of School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering in Northwestern Polytechnical University. He is a highly influential and active researcher in structure/function polymer composites, with main research interests including thermally conductive polymer-based composites, fiber-reinforced wave-transparent polymer-based composites, electromagnetic interference shielding polymer-based composites, etc.
