Danuta Szeliga, PhD, is a professor at AGH and head of the Department of Applied Informatics and Modeling in the Faculty of Metals Engineering and Industrial Informatics at AGH. Her research interests include numerical modeling of metal processing, inverse method and sensitivity analysis for identification of material parameters and numerical models, and optimization of industrial processes. She has authored and co-authored more than 200 publications in scientific journals, books and conference proceedings. Shes participate in many scientific and R&D carried out in cooperation with companies. In addition, she has been co-organizing international scientific conferences for many years: KomPlasTech under ECCOMAS Thematic Conferences and Metal Forming. He is a member of the Association for Iron and Steel Technology (AIST), as well as the Polish Society for Computational Methods of Mechanics.
