Professor Tomasz Wejrzanowski's scientific interest lies in the characterization and design of advanced engineering materials, encompassing porous materials, nano-materials, and materials tailored for application in extreme environments. This notably involves materials for chemical (catalysis) and electrochemical (fuel cells, batteries, supercapacitors) energy generation, conversion, and storage. The methodology employed for material design is grounded in the concept of advanced manufacturing, such as i.e. 3D printing, supported by characterization and modeling.
